One of the primary factors in a child’s resilience is having a stable relationship with a caring adult. Children who have been adopted or fostered can sometimes experience challenges regulating their behaviours and emotions. This can often cause their parents, in turn to, have trouble regulating their own behaviours and emotions!
In this workshop, John will highlight key strategies and techniques dads can use to regulate themselves, and in turn support their adopted or fostered children in regulating themselves. Dads will have a chance to share and discuss what their own experiences have been.
