Hearing from adults who are adopted is a great opportunity for all who are touched by adoption. Join us on April 25th as our panel of adult adoptees share their stories and experiences growing up in an adoptive home. While our panelists are currently living in Hong Kong, all four were raised in families outside Asia.
During our panel discussion, panelists will discuss childhood and adolescent years, family relationships, and building a positive self-image. We will also provide time for questions from attendees.
This event is open to all parents and children, ages 12 and above, as well as caregivers, waiting and prospective parents, adult adoptees, professionals and students.
- 170HKD for AFHK members;
- 270HKD for non-members or lapsed members (or click here to join/renew your AFHK membership and attend this event for the member's rate of 170HKD).
- Participants can also choose to obtain a Certificate of Attendance for participation in this event. We hope this certificate may support an adoption application by demonstrating an ongoing commitment to learning about the needs of parenting a child through adoption.
