Waiting Families Gathering (English)
We are very pleased to invite you to the upcoming Waiting Families Events. These informal gatherings aim to bring together families who are currently in the process of adopting children from Hong Kong or from other countries. There will be two waiting family events, one conducted in English and one conducted in Cantonese and you are welcome to attend the one of your choice or both if you like.
Please note that from January 2014 our English and Cantonese gatherings will be held in separate months. Our first Cantonese gathering of this year will be held on Wed 19 February, details of the event to follow in due course.
English Gathering

We will meet at Holly Brown Coffee in a friendly and casual environment. This will be a time to share our experiences while waiting to be matched with a child. So come with a topic you want to discuss or just a listening ear!
To ease the discussion, this meeting will only be open to families who are currently in the process of adopting a child (e.g. families who have started the home approval procedure or families who are waiting to be matched).

親愛的等候領養家庭,
我們誠意邀請你們參加以下即將舉行之等候領養家庭聚會。這個聚會適合現正等候之本地及外國領養家庭/人士參加。我們希望藉這個聚會，讓各等候領養家庭分享正在等候的心情和經驗。大家不妨準備一些題目/問題，若你們沒有任何題目，亦請踴躍參與或聆聽其他參加者的分享。
如你們有興趣參加我們的聚會，請到AFHK網站登記。
你們可選擇參加英語或/及廣東話聚會。由2014年1月起，英語及廣東話聚會將分別於不同月份進行。今年首個廣東話聚會之詳情將於稍後公佈，敬希留意。
