AFHK is hosting an evening Zoom discussion for all members and non-members around the citizenship and passport application process for children adopted in Hong Kong by Australian citizens. Citizenship applications can be daunting and many of us have questions. AFHK has invited Lucas Renzi*, a parent of three children including one adopted son and our long standing Steering Committee member, who has navigated the process on his own, to share his personal experience and a summary of the process. We hope other participants will also share their experiences and questions.
* Lucas Renzi is not an immigration expert or employed by an immigration agency or Australian government. He will be sharing based on his own experiences.
Registration fee:
MEMBERS: $50 per family
NON-MEMBERS: $150 per family (if you decide to join AFHK as a Member after this event, we will offset $100 towards your membership fee)
Payment is required in advance.
Participants are welcome to send any questions they have in advance to outreach@afhk.org.hk so that Lucas can prepare more effectively. Do note that not all questions may be answered due to time constraints.
If you have any other queries or concerns, please don't hesitate to email us at outreach@afhk.org.hk.
As a volunteer organisation, we rely on our members and donors' support to help us organise and offer events such as these.
