This talk will provide a refreshing perspective on dealing with challenging behavior that encourages seeing problematic behavior through a different lens. Techniques that are straight forward to understand, and look beyond traditional reward - discipline cycles and methods, will be discussed.

Parents and other caregivers, clinicians, and educators will find this straightforward, jargon-free discussion easy to grasp and translate into practice. No longer is problematic behavior the intended “target” of treatment; rather, it is the emotional skill deficit underlying the behavior.

This workshop is based on the work of Dr. Diane Cullinane, Dr. Stanley Greenspan and Serena Wieder, PhD.
